Packs' Halloween Sleepover 2014
Report by CSL Anita Muscat
31st October 2014
At the end of October, the Pack held a sleepover at headquarters. This included a Halloween party which was well attended by ghosts, ghouls, skeletons, some shady characters and lots of noisy ones!
Different Halloween themed games added to the high spirits and worked up an appetite for the evening's dinner. Later a campfire combined traditional and more modern Scout songs around a magical fire circle complete with lots of special effects.
Although a film show in the Pack den included lots of snacks to nibble on, before bedtime, the Cubs still had some space for a cup of hot chocolate and some biscuits.
After a rather short night where the leaders and Cubs managed to get a few hours of sleep, a very special wake-up call heralded the morning. Some junior leaders devised an original way of substituting the alarm clock and waking up the Cubs.
