Packs Joint Outdoor Activity - June 2012

At the beginning of June, the two Packs within the group organised the first of their two joint activities for the month. Held at Dwejra, the outdoor activity covered topics for the Explorer and the Camper's badges. Under the supervision of their leaders, the Cubs:

• learned about safety precautions in open fire-cooking,
• prepared a hot drink,
• discussed the Highway and the Country Codes,
• learned how to read a map, and
• helped to put up a tent
