Packs Joint Cookout Activity - June 2012

The second joint activity for the month of June was a cookout. Its location was not disclosed to the Cubs who instead had to find their way to a field not far from the headquarters by following along directions on a map. This time it was the leaders who followed the Cubs and not the other way round. Once each group of Cubs arrived at their destination, they lit their fire and cooked their meal. At the end they cleared the area before returning to the headquarters where a surprise awaited them in the form of a birthday cake brought by Cub Scout Michael who was celebrating his birthday the following day.
