Bicycle Hike - Good Turn 2012

As a good turn during the Christmas period, the Victoria Scout Group organized a bicycle hike. Around 80 persons participated. These included members from the 3 sections within the group and their leaders as well as relatives and friends. The bikers were accompanied by the traffic police as well as by an ambulance and first‑aiders kindly provided by the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps. The activity lasted around 2 hours and passed through several villages in Gozo.

The proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Sick and the Elderly. This organization assists the sick and the elderly in every way and helps improve and increase hospital and home facilities available for the safety, welfare, comfort and convenience of the sick and the elderly in Gozo.
